Search Console for creators
How to Add TikTok to Google Search Console
Google Search Console Platform Properties let TikTok creators, publishers and brands measure how their public content performs when it appears across Google.
The reports can include traffic from Google Search and, when applicable, Discover and Google News.
Before You Begin
You will need:
- Ownership of, or authorized access to, the TikTok account.
- A Google account that can access Google Search Console.
- Platform Properties to be available in your Search Console account.
1Open Google Search Console
Sign in to Google Search Console. Start from its welcome screen or open the property-selector menu in the sidebar.
2Select Add Property
Open the property selector and choose Add property.
3Choose TikTok
Find TikTok in the supported-platform list and select Add.
4Authorize Your TikTok Account
Follow Google's onscreen instructions to verify that you own or manage the TikTok account.
Verification may use a direct TikTok login or an automated connection through an existing website property associated with the account.
Check the username carefully before approving the connection if you manage several TikTok profiles.
5Open the New Property
Once ownership has been verified, Search Console will display a confirmation message. Select Go to property to finish setup.
Performance reports may remain empty for the first several days while Google begins collecting and processing data.
What TikTok Data Can Search Console Show?
Search Console reports how your TikTok content performs across Google. It does not report all views or engagement occurring inside TikTok.
- Total Google clicks.
- Total impressions.
- Average click-through rate.
- Average search position.
- Google queries associated with your TikTok content.
- Individual posts receiving visibility or traffic.
- Changes in performance over time.

Search Console vs TikTok Analytics
TikTok Analytics measures activity inside TikTok, such as video views, engagement, follower growth and audience behavior.
Search Console measures how your TikTok content is discovered through Google. It can show which searches lead people to your videos and which posts receive Google impressions or clicks.
How Are TikTok Views Counted?
An appearance in Google results can count as an impression. When someone clicks the result, Search Console records a click.
Search Console does not show how many times the same video appeared or played inside TikTok itself.
How Can TikTok Creators Use the Data?
- Discover which subjects attract visibility outside TikTok.
- Find Google queries associated with existing videos.
- Identify posts with high impressions but weak click-through rates.
- Compare evergreen videos with short-lived trend content.
- Turn successful TikTok subjects into longer videos or website pages.
- Measure whether older posts continue generating Google traffic.
Why Is My TikTok Property Showing No Data?
Google says new Platform Properties can take several days to begin displaying data.
Other possible explanations include:
- Your content has not yet received measurable Google visibility.
- The property was created recently.
- The TikTok authorization has expired.
- You accidentally connected another TikTok profile.
Google periodically rechecks ownership. If your connection expires, access pauses until you verify the account again. Reverification restores access to the existing reports.
Managing Multiple TikTok Accounts
Add each TikTok account as a separate Platform Property. This allows you to monitor each profile independently rather than combining their performance.
